FRAMEFIT
The most advanced fire door remediation system on the market.

ABOUT OUR PRODUCT RANGE
WHAT IS FRAMEFIT?
FrameFit is the ultimate gap remediation for fire doors.
It is a NEW & UNIQUE fully tested product that fits to door frames and the bottom of the existing door leafs to reduce gap sizes to meet current fire door regulations.
Fire Door Inspectors will report a fire door as ‘Non-Compliant’ with gaps of over 4mm between the frame and leaf. On the bottom of a fire door, gaps of over 8mm (Fire Only Door) and gaps of over 3mm (Fire & Smoke Doors) will also be reported as ‘Non-Compliant.’
Until now, the only remedy for excessive gaps was to replace the fire door with a new one.

QUICK & EASY TO INSTALL
6 Simple Steps
- Measure the door gaps with the FrameFit door gap checker or other suitable device.
- Measure the height and width of the door frame.
- Using the FrameFit cutter, cut off the required amount of FrameFit. To fill 11mm gap which is 8mm above what is regarded as safe you will need to fill an 8mm excessive gap. A length of 5mm and 3mm material which can be stuck together will fulfil this.
- Using the alcohol wipe provided ensure the frame is grease and dust free.
- Apply the FrameFit by removing the adhesive tape and carefully attaching to the door frame and pin into position using the pins provided.

FITTING THE BOTTOM DOORSEAL
QUICK & EASY TO INSTALL
7 Simple Steps
- Your door should have a maximum 10mm gap at the base for Fire only doors and for smoke prevention a maximum 3mm gap.
- If the gaps at the door base are above those in 1. you will need to fill the gaps. Measure the Gaps below the door with an accurate measuring device whilst the door is in place, check the measurements and remove the door.
- Cut the Door Bar to the width of the door.
- Using FrameFit and the Door Bar fit the FD30 or FD60 bar with the required amount of FrameFit. If the door is an FD60 fire door and the gap is 20mm you will need to fill a 10mm gap. On a FD60 door you will need 2 x lengths of 5mm of FD60 FrameFit.
- If the door is an FD30S Fire and Smoke door with a 20mm gap you will need to fill a gap of 15mm which is 3 x length of FD30 FrameFit.
- Fit the Door bar to the base of the door using suitable screws.
- Rehang the door and check the gaps are correct with the and not above the gaps in 1. above.
